Gas Leak Detection

If you suspect a gas leak, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 first and leave immediately. Doherty's Gas provides post-emergency leak detection and inspection across North London.

About Our Gas Leak Detection Service

A suspected gas leak is always an emergency — the first step is to call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999, leave the building immediately, and not operate any electrical switches or appliances. Do not return to the property until the supply has been isolated and confirmed safe by the emergency service. Once the immediate emergency has been dealt with, Doherty's Gas can carry out a post-emergency inspection to locate the source of the fault, trace the extent of any affected pipework, and advise on the remediation required before the supply is reinstated. We carry gas detection equipment and can inspect supply pipework, appliance connections, and meter fittings across all types of residential property in North London.
